once upon a time…
…in a land not so far away, parents (let’s just call them Romeo and Juliet) wanted to get some fabulous photographs taken of their young princes (we’ll call them Cliff and Roy). Who wouldn’t, after all, these boys were beyond precious (not unlike yours, I’m sure…) Yet, everywhere they went to photograph these princes, they were disappointed in what they found. You see, their princes had personality-plus, and the photographs of them from all of those portrait studios looked just like every other child throughout the land. There had to be a better way, they thought….
They imagined a place where they would be comfortable, and where their princes could play. A place with professional photographers, capturing priceless moments of not only their princes, but their family, all infused with personality. A place where they could have the digital images of their princes to share with friends and family. And if they chose to frame those fabulous photographs – they wouldn’t have to leave their first born or a right arm.
Alas, that place did not exist at the mall.. that place is in the mind of Franco Sicilia and Kid By Ego. It’s the place where one day you will look at an image and still hear your princes and princess laughing and playing as you hold on to the magical days.
Call us. It’s not as far away as you think….
Boudoir (pronounced, “bü-dwär”) is photography of a sensual nature. Boudoir photography can be sweet, sexy or provocative. Subjects can be fully clothed, partially clothed, partially nude during the session. Many subjects prefer the mystery of the implied nude. Implied nude is when a subject is nude, yet all sensitive areas are obscured from view by cloth, sheets or shadows, leaving a lot to the imagination.
Boudoir photography creates an illusion. Hair, makeup, costuming and the setting all collaborate with the photographer’s photography style, lighting style, and editing techniques to create a final image representative of the fantasy the subject wishes to express. Styles of boudoir photography can include Maxim or Playboy-like color photography, modern and dramatic black and white, soft and glamorous “Old Hollywood”, and of course, vintage-style “Pin up”.
Unlike other portrait sessions, boudoir photography takes a highly specialized expertise for posing, lighting and overall client comfort during the session. Boudoir portraits are photographed by Franco with a professional stylist assisting. And if you want, feel free to bring a friend along as your cheerleader! Cheerleaders are great for emotional support.
